Welcome to the Georgia Christian University (GCU) Self Study website. The GCU Self Study process is an introspective review of the University during
which each educational program, learning activity, academic and student support service, function, and unit of the institution
will be examined to determine how well each area of GCU is meeting its stated purpose and goals, as well as how effective
and efficient each area is performing. The purpose of the GCU Self Study is to critically review the institution and evaluate
how effectively the institution is accomplishing its mission, goal, and learning outcomes and to evaluate its compliance with
the TRACS accreditation standards. As a part of the Self Study process, it is anticipated that GCU will have recommendations
for improving its programs, activities, services, functions, and units, which will result, ultimately, in the improvement
of GCU. The Self Study review is accomplished through broad-based participation by all members of the University, including
members of the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, student body, alumni, and the GCU external community.
